Solar energy company

Do NOT use this company. If I could give zero stars I would. They were working on neighbors roof and one of their subcontractors destroyed my driveway while removing garbage bin. They responded to my initial email saying they are not responsible for their subcontractors and have ignored every following email & phone call since, which is completely unprofessional. We were not asking for a new driveway, just that they fix what was destroyed. They subcontract almost all facets of the job and obviously don't stand behind their work. What's to stop them from not standing behind an install by a subcontractor, using the same excuse, and you are stuck with a leaky roof? BEWARE do not even ask for a quotation from this company. Go to someone who backs up their work.

Having Gorilla Voltage perform our 200A service was the best choice. They made a full mast replacement & panel upgrade on a 60+ year-old home painless.They had great communication throughout the process with easy to understand explanations & reasonable estimates on time and cost. On site they were on time, clean, communicative and adapted their solutions to our needs on the fly.When people say “I got a guy” they’re probably referring to Nick and his team.

Nick and Gilles at Astral were fantastic. I had a woodstove installation, and they did a great job, start to finish. Very timely, professional, responsive. I'd hire these guys again in a heartbeat.

Excellent experience with Polaron. From planning to installation they have been helpful and informative. They stand by their work as well, even after install of the brackets I asked that a wire be moved and they jumped right on it. Great company. Highly recommend.

I bought a wood stove (used) that this company had sold, serviced and removed for the customer. Customer I purchased from said they had told him they would instal it for me and I could get it installed and insured. When I looked at the stove, the UL label (required for insurance) had been removed by them when they removed the stove.I called them and asked them to install it and another stove for me and if I could get the UL number or serial number, or anything so I could get it insured. They would not give me the UL number, serial number or anything else in order for me to get insured, thus, my purchase from their customer was a waste of money.Always told the boss would call me back... never happened. I would never do business with what I consider a dishonest Co with poor business practice

Amazing group, very responsive and knowledgeable in solar!

Sol West Power Corporation and JOSH (the owner) are perfect examples of how good a contractor can be. We decided that now was a good time to install PV panels on the roof of our home and take advantage of solar energy. We requested information from five companies (big and small) to design a system, provide production capability and the all inclusive price. Our experience was that Sol West listened to our needs and expectations and were extremely flexible to ensure we would end up with a system that worked best for us. The installation went smoothly with no issues whatsoever and we are now producing all our own power. Josh was involved throughout the project and is a very capable, honest and trustworthy businessman, we cannot recommend him highly enough, we suggest 10 stars not just 5.

3B Energy helped me to install a solar system at my home. I worked with 3B Energy per a recommendation of a friend who did the same. I am very pleased with how Milo works. At the initial contact (a phone call well over an hour), Milo explained everything from the process, the expected timelines, the hurdles and everything he would do for us. He also explained in detail everything about my own energy bill, and how this would be offset by the system that 3B Energy would install. I have had my system now for almost a year, and it works flawless, as it was promised by 3B Energy. I would work with them again in a heartbeat, and have actually recommended Milo to some of my friends who also want to go the solar route now.

Excellent service in Qualicum. Clarence, our technician, was professional, friendly, and extremely competent. Only necessary work was performed - and the bill incredibly reasonable. The receptionist also was friendly and efficient and the service prompt. I would highly recommend them.
